8. If I am under 18 years of age at the time of submission, my parent or legal guardian has completely reviewed this Agreement, understands and consents to its terms, and authorizes my participation. If I am at least 18 years old at the time of submission, I am legally competent to sign this Agreement.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for us! This form is designed to match interested people with the right volunteer opportunity.

Volunteers are vital to our organization so they must be reliable, mature and trustworthy. Volunteers must be 18 years old* and are expected to commit to help one afternoon a week. We understand that there will be conflicts from time to time, and as long as those are known in advance we can usually make accommodations. You will find that communication is very important within the general operation of our shelter.

Volunteers should come to us with a passion for cats and a genuine desire to help for the greater good of the community. If you are seeking to fulfill a short-term community service requirement we will try to make that work, but it may be on an as-needed basis (for special projects).

*If you are not yet 18 years old, you will need to volunteer with a parent or guardian, regardless of your ability and maturity level (sorry, it's for liability purposes!)

With that said, please tell us a little more about yourself!
